Philip Cheung
Philip Cheung is a photographer based in Beirut, Lebanon. Originally from Toronto, Canada, he has worked extensively in the Middle East and specializes in both reportage and portraiture. Some clients include: The New York Times, Getty Images, British GQ, Le Monde, The Guardian, Monocle, Conde Nast Traveller, Macleans, Das Magazin (Switzerland), ROB Magazine and the Globe and Mail.
In 2009 Philip was selected for the Magenta Foundation’s, Flash Forward book for emerging photographers and received honourable mentions for Jen Bekman’s Hey Hot Shot! First and Second Edition Competitions and the International Photography Awards. He has also been awarded by Photo District News, Applied Arts, Coupe Magazine and the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage.
